Rotary is a service club of which their members believe in the motto "Service Above Self". Rotarians provide service at both the community and International levels. Locally, they provide help and sponsorship to organizations such as the Third Grade Academy, Genesis, and local food pantries just to name a few. Internationally, Rotary is well known for its effort to eradicate Polio throughout the word, its scholarship programs, and the promotion of world peace.
The Rotary Club of Richmond has chosen the banquet room located at Little Sheba's in the Depot District to conduct their weekly club meetings. Mama Rosina's Banquet Room, located at 175 Fort Wayne Ave, provides a central location for members and has all of the audio visual equipment needed for their weekly programs.
The Richmond Rotary Club meets each Tuesday at 11:45 for lunch. They have great fellowship and a program of interest to enjoy during each club meeting.
